Why Buy From Us

Close

The Cleanstar P50 is a portable carpet and spray extractor that does what most single-purpose machines can't — carpet extraction, upholstery cleaning, hard floor scrubbing, and tile cleaning from a single 8.5kg machine that fits in the boot of a car. At $1,099 including the air mover, it's one of the most practical entry points into professional extraction for mobile operators, small cleaning businesses, and facilities teams that need periodic deep cleaning without a dedicated extraction machine.

130 PSI water pressure injects cleaning solution deep into carpet pile and fabric fibres. The 1,200W motor extracts it immediately, lifting embedded dirt, staining, and contamination in a single pass. Separate 9-litre clean and 7-litre dirty water tanks keep fresh solution isolated from extracted waste throughout the job. At 8.5 kilograms with four rubber wheels and a carry handle, it loads and unloads from a vehicle in seconds and carries up stairs without a second person.

Included accessories cover all surface types out of the box — carpet wand for pile carpet, upholstery tool for fabric furniture and vehicle interiors, hard surface tip for tiles and PVC. One machine, four surface types, no additional purchases required.

Cleanstar P50 Professional Carpet and Spray Extractor — Free Air Mover Included

Key Features

  • 130 PSI spray pressure and 1,200W extraction motor — injects cleaning solution deep into carpet pile and fabric fibres under real pressure, then extracts it immediately with strong suction. The combination that lifts embedded contamination surface cleaning leaves behind.
  • Dual tank — 9L clean, 7L dirty — separate tanks mean the solution going onto your surfaces is always clean, regardless of how much contaminated water has been recovered. No cross-contamination, consistent cleaning results throughout the job.
  • Four surface types, one machine — carpet wand, upholstery tool, hard surface tip, and hose assembly all included. Switches between carpet, upholstery, tiles, and PVC without additional accessories.
  • 8.5kg — fits in any vehicle — carry handle and rubber wheels make it practical for mobile operators. Carries up stairs, loads into vans and hatchbacks, manoeuvres in tight spaces that larger wheeled extractors can't reach.
  • 11-metre working range — power cord and hose covers most room sizes without repositioning or extension leads.
  • Shockproof tank and long-life motor — built for the daily loading, unloading, and movement of mobile commercial use rather than sitting in a fixed location.

Technical Specifications

  • Motor: 1,200W
  • Suction: 25 kPa (250 mbar)
  • Spray Pressure: 130 PSI
  • Clean Water Tank: 9 litres
  • Dirty Water Tank: 7 litres
  • Weight: 8.5kg
  • Working Range: 11 metres
  • Wheels: Rubber
  • Motor Type: Long-life
  • Tank: Shockproof

Included in the Box

  • Carpet wand
  • Upholstery tool
  • Hose and handle assembly
  • Stainless steel tubes
  • Hard surface tip
  • XPOWER P-230AT Compact Air Mover ($279 value — free with every P50)

Who the P50 Suits

Mobile carpet cleaning operators servicing residential and small commercial clients. Office cleaning contractors running carpet maintenance between scheduled deep cleans. Auto detailers extracting staining and moisture from vehicle upholstery and carpets. Hotels, aged care, and hospitality operators spot cleaning carpet and fabric furniture between turnarounds. Small cleaning businesses adding extraction capability without the cost and bulk of a large extraction machine.

What does the free air mover do and why do I need one?

The XPOWER P-230AT is a compact centrifugal air mover — it directs high-velocity air across wet carpet after extraction, dramatically accelerating evaporation and drying time. Without an air mover, extracted carpet typically takes 4–8 hours to fully dry. With the P-230AT running after extraction, that drops to 1–2 hours in most conditions. Faster drying means faster room turnaround, less risk of mould or odour developing in damp carpet, and the ability to complete more jobs per day. It's a $279 machine that mobile operators and cleaning contractors consider essential kit — included free with every P50.

Can the P50 be used on carpet and hard floors?

Yes — the P50 includes a carpet wand for pile carpets and a hard surface tip for tiled floors and PVC. The interchangeable attachment system handles both surface types without additional purchases.

Can the P50 clean upholstery and vehicle interiors?

Yes — the included upholstery tool is designed for fabric furniture, vehicle seats, and other upholstered surfaces. Use at lower spray settings on delicate fabrics and test on a hidden area first.

How portable is the P50?

At 8.5kg with a carry handle and four rubber wheels, the P50 is one of the more portable professional extractors available. It loads into the boot of a standard car, carries up stairs without excessive effort, and manoeuvres in tight spaces where larger extraction units are impractical.

How long does carpet take to dry after extraction?

With extraction only, most carpets dry within 4–8 hours depending on pile depth, saturation, and ventilation. Running the included XPOWER P-230AT air mover after extraction cuts drying time to 1–2 hours in most conditions — which is why it's included with every P50.

Is the P50 easy to maintain?

Routine maintenance is straightforward — empty and rinse both tanks after every use to prevent odour and bacterial growth in the dirty water tank. Check hoses and connections for blockages periodically. The long-life motor handles regular mobile commercial use without specialist servicing under normal operating conditions.

I need something for high-volume daily carpet cleaning — is the P50 right?

The P50 is built for periodic professional use — spot cleaning, mobile operators, and facilities running extraction periodically rather than continuously. For carpet cleaning businesses running the machine across full daily shifts at high volume, the Steamvac range is the more appropriate specification — Australian-made, higher PSI, larger tanks, and rated for continuous commercial duty cycles. Give us a call and we'll point you in the right direction.
