SpaceVac 50mm ATEX PRO Vacuum Cleaning System: Tackle the Heaviest Industrial Cleaning Jobs in Australia — Safely Heavy-Duty, Fully Conductive High...
View full detailsWorking at height is one of the leading causes of serious workplace injury in Australia — and in most commercial cleaning situations, it's completely avoidable. SpaceVac high-level cleaning systems use modular carbon-fibre poles and industrial vacuum units to clean up to 15 metres from ground level, eliminating the need for ladders, EWPs, or scaffolding entirely. That means faster cleaning, lower costs, and genuine WHS compliance without the paperwork that comes with working at height. The range includes solutions for warehouses, factories, retail centres, and ATEX-classified zones where standard equipment isn't suitable. Give us a call to discuss the right SpaceVac configuration for your facility.

View full detailsTen products across two main categories — the Interior range for standard commercial and industrial environments, and the ATEX range for explosive atmosphere classified zones. All systems use the same modular carbon fibre pole system with purpose-built cleaning attachments, connecting to an industrial vacuum for ground-based high-reach cleaning.
SpaceVac poles are modular — 38mm carbon fibre sections connect end-to-end to build the reach required for the job, from a few metres up to 15 metres. Purpose-built cleaning heads and nozzle attachments at the top of the pole direct suction to the surface being cleaned. The system connects to a compatible industrial vacuum at the base. The operator works from the ground throughout — no ladder, no EWP, no working at height.
For facilities teams, the practical advantages are significant. Working at height in Australia requires a Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) and specific WHS controls under the Work Health and Safety Regulations. Ground-based cleaning eliminates the working at height classification entirely, removing the compliance burden, the risk of falls, and the cost of elevated work platform hire. For routine high-level dust and debris removal in warehouses, factories, and retail centres, SpaceVac reduces a complex task to a straightforward ground-level operation.
Four Interior models covering different output levels and pole configurations for standard (non-ATEX) commercial and industrial environments:
The SV38/LITE ($1,809.50) is the entry-level system — three 38mm poles giving basic reach for lower ceiling heights and introductory high-level cleaning capability. Suited to facilities testing the SpaceVac system before committing to a larger configuration.
The SV38/PIONEER ($3,699.30) is a mid-range interior kit — more poles, more reach, suited to standard warehouse and factory ceiling heights. The most common starting configuration for facilities teams adding high-level cleaning capability to their standard cleaning program.
The SV38/PRO ($7,085.10) steps up in reach and attachment capability for larger facilities with higher ceilings and more complex high-level cleaning requirements.
The SV38/ULTRA ($14,953.40) is the top of the Interior range — maximum reach and the most comprehensive attachment set for the most demanding high-level interior cleaning applications.
Standard vacuums and cleaning equipment create ignition risk in explosive atmosphere environments — facilities handling combustible dust (flour, grain, pharmaceutical powders, aluminium) or flammable gases. The SpaceVac ATEX range is certified for use in these classified zones under AS/NZS 60079, the Australian standard for equipment in explosive atmospheres.
Four ATEX models covering different output levels:
The SVA38/EX-LITE ($4,299) is the entry ATEX configuration. The SVA38/EX-PIONEER ($6,150.10) covers standard ATEX facility ceiling heights. The SVA38/EX-PRO ($8,780.20) and SVA50/EX-PRO ($12,465.20) step up for larger facilities and higher ceilings. The SVA38/EX-ULTRA ($18,187.40) is the top ATEX specification for the most demanding explosive atmosphere applications.
If your facility has ATEX-classified zones, using a non-ATEX vacuum system is non-compliant with AS/NZS 60079 and WHS regulations. Give us a call with your zone classification before selecting equipment.
SpaceVac is designed for high-level indoor cleaning — warehouse ceilings, roof beams, internal structural steelwork, high racking, lighting rigs, and above-head surfaces inside buildings. The AIV Carbon Fibre Pole Kit is designed for outdoor gutter cleaning from the ground. The two systems serve different applications — if you need outdoor gutter cleaning, the AIV pole kit range is the correct product.
SpaceVac systems reach up to 15 metres from ground level depending on the pole configuration. The modular 38mm carbon fibre poles connect end-to-end to build the required reach. Most standard warehouse and factory ceiling heights in Australia fall within 6–10 metres — well within SpaceVac's reach range. Give us a call with your ceiling height and we'll confirm the right pole configuration before you order.
SpaceVac systems require a compatible industrial vacuum with sufficient suction to maintain performance through the full pole length at height. For the Interior range, a commercial wet and dry vacuum with adequate suction rating is typically sufficient. For the ATEX range, the connected vacuum must also be ATEX-certified. Give us a call with your SpaceVac model and we'll confirm the correct vacuum specification before purchasing.
SpaceVac eliminates the working at height classification for cleaning tasks by keeping the operator on the ground throughout. Under Australian WHS Regulations, working at height requires specific controls including Safe Work Method Statements, fall prevention equipment, and supervision requirements. Ground-based SpaceVac operation removes these requirements for routine high-level cleaning tasks. Always confirm with your WHS advisor that your specific application qualifies as ground-based work under your state's WHS regulations.
SpaceVac purpose-built attachments handle roof beams, structural steelwork, ceiling panels, high racking, lighting rigs, air conditioning ducts, wall surfaces, and most above-head structural elements in warehouses, factories, retail centres, and industrial facilities. Different nozzle and brush attachments suit different surface types and debris loads. Give us a call with your specific application and we'll confirm the right attachment configuration.
You need the ATEX range if your facility has zones classified as explosive atmospheres under AS/NZS 60079 — where combustible dust or flammable gases may be present in concentrations that create ignition risk. Common ATEX facilities include flour mills, grain handling, pharmaceutical manufacturing, aluminium processing, woodworking dust environments, and chemical processing plants. Using non-ATEX equipment in a classified zone is non-compliant with WHS regulations. If you're unsure whether your facility requires ATEX-rated equipment, consult your WHS advisor or give us a call.
