View full detailsCleaning gutters from the ground is safer, faster, and more practical than working from a ladder — particularly on commercial buildings, two-storey residential properties, and sites where roof access is hazardous or restricted. The AIV Carbon Fibre Pole Kit connects to your existing wet and dry vacuum and gives you ground-level reach to extract leaves, debris, and sludge from gutters without leaving the ground. We stock AIV pole kits in single-pole and multi-pole configurations at Oz Cleaning Gear with fast dispatch across Australia.

View full detailsThe AIV Carbon Fibre Pole Kit turns your existing wet and dry vacuum into a ground-based gutter cleaning system. The lightweight carbon fibre poles connect end-to-end to build the reach you need, with a curved nozzle attachment at the top that directs suction into the gutter channel. No ladder required, no roof access needed, and no second person needed to hold equipment — one operator, from the ground, cleaning gutters efficiently.
The AIV pole kit attaches directly to the hose of your existing wet and dry vacuum. Carbon fibre poles connect in series to build height — a single 1.5-metre pole gives you ground-to-gutter reach on single-storey properties, while multiple poles linked together extend the system to two-storey and commercial building heights. The curved gutter nozzle at the top of the pole fits into the gutter channel and directs suction downward to extract leaf litter, compacted debris, and wet sludge in a single pass.
Because the system connects to your existing vacuum rather than a dedicated machine, there's no additional major equipment purchase required. Any commercial wet and dry vacuum with adequate suction — the Cleanstar, Dashclean, or Jetwave models in our range — provides the extraction power to run the AIV pole system effectively. For operators already running a commercial vacuum kit, the AIV pole kit is a low-cost add-on that opens up gutter cleaning as a service offering or simplifies an existing maintenance routine.
The AIV Carbon Fibre Pole Kit is available in single-pole through to multi-pole configurations:
A single 1.5-metre pole ($255.20) suits single-storey residential properties and low commercial buildings where eaves are accessible from ground level. It's also the practical starting point if you want to evaluate the system before building out a longer setup.
Multi-pole configurations extend the system for two-storey residential, commercial facades, and any building where eave height exceeds 1.5 metres from the operator's position. Poles connect end-to-end with simple push-lock fittings — no tools required. Carbon fibre construction keeps the assembled pole lightweight and manageable even at full extension, which matters considerably when you're holding 4–6 metres of pole overhead for extended periods.
Carbon fibre poles are the correct material choice for this application. At equivalent strength, carbon fibre is significantly lighter than aluminium or fibreglass — the difference in operator fatigue across a day of gutter cleaning is meaningful. Carbon fibre also doesn't conduct electricity, which provides an additional safety margin around overhead power lines that aluminium poles don't offer. For professional gutter cleaning operators and property maintenance teams, this is the specification that matters.
Any commercial wet and dry vacuum with adequate suction handles gutter debris effectively with the AIV pole kit. Dry leaf litter extracts easily at lower suction levels. Wet compacted debris and sludge requires a vacuum with higher water lift and airflow — the Cleanstar VC90LP or Dashclean B300 are well-suited for demanding gutter cleaning applications. Give us a call with your vacuum model and the typical condition of the gutters you're cleaning and we'll confirm compatibility before you order.
Yes — the AIV pole kit attaches to your existing vacuum hose. Most commercial wet and dry vacuums with standard 38mm or 50mm hose fittings are compatible. Give us a call with your vacuum model and hose diameter and we'll confirm the right connection configuration before you order.
Standard two-storey eave heights in Australia are typically 5–6 metres from the ground. With a single 1.5-metre pole held at shoulder height, you have effective reach of around 3 metres — adequate for single-storey properties. For two-storey you'll generally need 3–4 poles linked in series. Give us a call with your building height and we'll confirm the right configuration for your application.
Dry leaf litter, light debris, and fine sediment extract easily. Wet compacted leaf matter, mud, and sludge require a vacuum with higher airflow and water lift to handle effectively. For predominantly wet debris, a vacuum with at least 2kW motor output and adequate tank capacity is recommended — the Cleanstar VC90LP or Dashclean B300 handle wet gutter debris well. Heavily compacted debris may require pre-loosening with a gutter clearing tool before vacuum extraction.
For extraction of loose debris and leaf litter, vacuum extraction from the ground is as effective as ladder-based cleaning and significantly faster across a property. For compacted or heavily blocked gutters, some pre-loosening may still be required. The practical advantages of ground-based cleaning — speed, safety, and the ability for a single operator to work unassisted — make it the standard approach for regular gutter maintenance programs on residential and commercial properties.
The AIV pole kit is designed specifically for outdoor gutter cleaning applications. For high-level indoor cleaning — dust extraction from high ceilings, beams, roof voids, and internal structures — the Spacevac system is the appropriate specification. Give us a call and we'll confirm which system suits your specific application.
