Combustible Dust Vacuum Cleaners

Industrial vacuum cleaners built for combustible dust such as flour, wood dust, metal powder and powder coating. These machines are certified for hazardous areas, so dust is collected without a spark source in the room.

Remove combustible dust before it builds up into a hazard

Why the vacuum matters

Dust that settles on beams, ledges and machinery is a fuel source. Regular vacuuming removes it, but only a machine certified for your zone should be used in a classified area. A standard vacuum is not suitable there.

Matching a machine to your dust

  • Tell us the material, so we can check the machine and filter suit it.
  • Confirm your zone (for example Zone 21 or Zone 22), so the certificate covers the area.
  • Choose single or three phase, so it runs on your site supply.

Frequently asked questions

Which dusts are combustible?

Common examples are flour, grain, wood dust, sugar, plastics powder, metal powders and powder coating. Your site risk assessment sets the classification.

Do I need an ATEX vacuum for combustible dust?

If your assessment classifies the area as a hazardous zone, use equipment certified for that zone. Confirm the requirement with your site safety adviser.

Can you help me choose a machine?

Yes. Send us the dust type, zone and power supply and we will recommend a machine.
