It runs on 2kW single-phase power, so it plugs into any normal wall socket. How Does the Dashclean B200 Work as a Gutter Vacuum?
Clean Your Gutters From the Ground — No Ladder Needed
The B200 connects to the AIV Carbon Fibre Pole Kit. The carbon fibre poles are light and connect end-to-end to build the reach your property needs — no ladder, no roof access. The pole kit is sold in several configurations, so you buy the reach that suits your job:
- 2-pole kit — 3m reach — comes with a goose neck attachment, well suited to the 2.7–2.9m gutter height on most single-storey Australian homes
- 4-pole kit — 6m reach — reaches most double-storey gutters and higher rooflines. Still no roof access needed
Single poles (1.5m each) are also available individually if you need to fine-tune the reach to a specific height. Larger 6-pole (9m) and 8-pole (12m) configurations exist for taller commercial buildings, though the B300's stronger suction is the better match for reach beyond 6m.
The kit comes with a curved nozzle that hooks into the gutter and pulls debris straight into the hose. Leaves, wet sludge, and packed-down muck all get sucked out. No scooping by hand, no flushing with a hose.

Can I use the B200 for gutter cleaning without the AIV pole kit?
Not from the ground. The B200 gives you the suction, but the AIV Carbon Fibre Pole Kit gives you the reach. Without the poles and curved nozzle, you'd need a ladder to hold the hose up at the gutter — which takes away the main safety benefit. The two are designed to work together.
How many poles do I need for my home?
Most single-storey Australian homes have gutters at 2.7–2.9m, so the 2-pole kit (3m reach) is enough — it comes with the goose neck attachment included. For double-storey homes and higher rooflines, step up to the 4-pole kit (6m reach). Give us a call with your gutter height and we'll confirm the right kit before you order.
Will the B200 handle wet and packed-down gutter debris?
Yes. The B200 does wet and dry pickup with 2,000mm water lift, so wet leaves and packed sludge clear through the 38mm hose. For a really heavy blockage or a lot of standing water, you may need to break it up with the nozzle first.
Does the B200 run on normal household power?
Yes — 240V single phase, the same as any wall socket in your home. No electrician, no three-phase wiring. Run an extension lead to the nearest outdoor socket and you're ready to go.
