The Polystar PS-001 is a compact orbital floor polisher that handles timber, tile, vinyl, marble, polished concrete, and carpet — polishing, scrubbing, waxing, sanding, and dry carpet cleaning all from a single machine. At $799 with a free water tank set included, it covers more floor care tasks than any comparable single machine at this price point.
The orbital action is the key differentiator from standard rotary disc machines. Instead of spinning in a single direction, the orbital motion works multi-directionally — cleaning more evenly, reducing swirl marks on polished surfaces, and handling textured or delicate finishes that a rotary would damage. On polished concrete, marble, and specialty flooring where an aggressive rotary would scratch the finish, the PS-001 is the correct tool. On tiles, the hard brush combined with solution from the water tank lifts grout contamination in a single pass.

What does the water tank set do?
The water tank set attaches to the PS-001 and dispenses cleaning solution onto the floor while the machine operates — converting it from a dry polisher and buffer into a wet scrubber capable of applying and agitating solution in one pass. Included free with every PS-001 purchase. Without the water tank, the PS-001 handles dry polishing, buffing, sanding, and dry carpet cleaning. With the water tank, it adds wet scrubbing capability for deeper cleaning of tiles, vinyl, and hard floor surfaces.
